Info: Michelle L. Brown, RDH a native Washingtonian and proud alumna of Howard University, School of Dental Hygiene and class President of 1990. My career has been exceptionally rewarding and extremely fulfilling. I am honored to have worked with some of the best expert clinicians in General Dentistry, Specialty Care Practices, Centers for Disease and Medical Research and Non-Profit Foundations. I am a proud and active member of the ADHA and Browngirl, RDH organizations. As an Oral Health Educator , Advocator and Provider my passion for dentistry and zest for learning and instruction has given me genuine joy and the rewards are priceless.
I am also the owner and operator of Smile Salon & Spa, LLC, providing smile assessments, oral health consultations, specializing in teeth whitening, tooth gems, training and certifying teeth whitening and tooth gem specialists.
I am a mentor and motivational speaker inspiring you to EMBRACE THE MOMENT AND SOAR!

Host: DR. ANDRE' FARQUHARSON

Info: Dr. André Farquharson is a New York City native and graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York, and went on to pursue a Fellowship in Infectious Disease at Bronx‑Lebanon Hospital Center. He later specialized in Oral, Head and Neck Pathology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He has held faculty appointments at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, where he taught Oral, Head and Neck Pathology and served as Director of the General Practice Residency Program. He is currently an Associate Professor at Howard University College of Dentistry. He previously served as Dental Director for the National Minority AIDS Education and Training Center and Clinic Coordinator for Ryan White Care Act HIV/AIDS services at Howard University. Dr. Farquharson is a Fellow of the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Diplomate of the American Board of OMP

Info: Kimberly Farley holds a Master of Science in Leadership in Health Care from NovaSoutheastern University and brings over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, education, and educational leadership. She is deeply passionate about teaching clinical courses and is known for her expertise in designing activities that enhance the student learning experience.  Kimberly has authored several published articles on marijuana and pain management. She is also the founder of Oral Health & Wellness Learning LLC (OHWL), a company focused on improving oral health equity and literacy, and breaking the stigma surrounding cannabis through education, while promoting both oral and overall health.

Kimberly is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, National Dental Hygiene Association, and the American Dental Educators Association.

She is licensed in New York, Maryland, and Washington, DC.

With ten years of clinical experience and three years as a Lead Dental Hygiene Educator, she brings both skill and compassion to every community she serves. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Barry University in 2008, a foundation that sparked her lifelong commitment to STEM education and community empowerment. Raised with a deep love for nature, growing things, and caring for the land, she followed that passion into urban agriculture. She is now a certified Urban Farm Operator, tending her Maryland‑based farm where she raises chickens and ducks and cultivates fresh produce through hydroponic and aquaponic systems. Her farm is a mission. Farisha believes that oral health, whole‑body wellness, and access to nutritious foods are inseparable. The heart of her nonprofit work-bridges the gap.
