The 49th Annual Messiah Sing-Along will be dedicated to the memory of Sam Hagan (1942-2024), longtime tenor soloist for this annual performance. Under the direction of Maestro Clinton Smith, soloists will include Adelaide Boedecker (Metropolitan Opera), Aubrey Dole (Atlanta Opera), Makudu Senaoana (Dutch National Opera), and Allen Michael Jones (Santa Fe and Dutch National Opera).Guests are asked to bring a plastic jar of peanut butter to benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Preceding the performance, music scores will be available for sale in the narthex. No ticket required. A reception follows in J. Coleman Budd Hall.
