THE 408 COLLECTIVE (Live) 8pm-12am
San Jose native artists performing nostalgic Y2K, Retro, Funk & Soul! Formed during the pandemic, the 408 Collective is a dynamic group of musicians from San Jose, blending R&B, soul, and funk into fresh, captivating interpretations of pop music. Led by saxophonist Jared Carbajal, the Collective quickly gained recognition, performing all over the bay area and having residencies at California's Great America and Disneyland. In 2020, they released their original song, "LOVE, LOVE, LOVE," followed by the music video, "Hit the Ground.“ At its core, the Collective is made up of Jared Carbajal, Misa James, and Gabriel Rangel each bringing their own unique musical sensibility to the group. Though each member contributes to the group's signature sound, the Collective thrives on collaboration, always striving to create something greater than the sum of its parts. With deep roots in the Bay Area they are dedicated to preserving community through their music, aiming to leave a lasting impact both locally and beyond.
