The Minnesota Climbers Association is proud to host The 18th Annual Sandstone Ice Climbing Festival, January 12, 13, 14, 2024 at The Sandstone Ice Park in Sandstone, MN.Please join us for a fun weekend of ice climbing and community!
This Celebration of Winter reaches the cold-tolerant from around the Midwest and Canada.
The event has always been a great way to learn new skills, connect with old friends and make new ones.
At The Sandstone Ice Festival you can make your ice climbing debut or to hone your craft for the upcoming season or just return to the fun of one of the Midwest’s most awesome Winter climbing events.
This Festival is not just an event; it's an opportunity to embrace the frozen beauty and forge unforgettable memories. Mark your calendars and join us for a weekend of icy excitement!
CAMPING
Free camping is available in the park for the event, courtesy of The City of Sandstone. Please be discrete.
LODGING
Is available at Osprey Wilds (formerly The Audubon Center of the North Woods).
Dormitory accommodations - four people per room, bring your own bedding

PARKING
Parking is limited in the park this year, please carpool and plan to park across MN-123 (aka 3rd St.) on Pine Avenue.
Available only in the two designated parking lots. NOT, in "The Loop", which is reserved for vendors, clinic instructors, event organizers and volunteers.Please abide.
