Please see the Discussion section for updated pictures and sponsorship level information.The patriotic mural in Veterans' Cove is currently being painted by local artist Heather Reaves with the help of MSC members, and is a creative celebration of America’s Semiquincentennial. Along with honoring our Nation's military, the mural includes significant historical contributions by the State of Delaware and the City of Milford. Veterans’ Cove is a welcoming open-concept room dedicated to the men and women that have served our Nation.
Donors can be assured that their contribution will make a lasting impact by supporting ongoing activities at the Center, including a much-needed overhaul of Veterans' Cove. Additionally, it will serve as an educational experience for visitors and local students.
Much of the Center’s membership is comprised of Veterans that currently pay $25/year for membership dues. Funds raised through the Mural Project’s Independence Visionary Partner sponsorship level will allow us to offer free memberships for our Veteran members for years to come.
