About this Event
The Ohio State University First-Year Health Administration Case Competition provides first-year graduate students from health administration programs across the country an opportunity to put what they have learned into practice with a real-life case. It is designed to be a superb supplementary exercise to the graduate school experience, especially for first year students, who often do not have the chance to participate in case competitions. Our case competition is capped at 24 teams.
A unique aspect of this case competition experience includes the keynote panel from the Case Writing Partner and dinner at the annual Leadership Development Symposium (LDS), an event that takes place the evening before the case competition itself. This networking opportunity allows student teams to interact with one another, as well as students, faculty and MHA alumni from The Ohio State University. Preliminary Round presentation times will be drawn at the end of LDS. LDS tickets are included in the price of registration.
Following registration, you will receive a message with hotel information for teams to reserve rooms at The Blackwell Inn at OSU's group rate should you choose to do so. Reservations should be made by individuals calling the hotel directly or using online link provided. Individuals are responsible for their own charges.
Teams may register if their participants have not yet been selected. Participant information may be emailed to [email protected] when selected.
The case will be released February 23 and due March 16 at 11:59pm EST
Note: once registration closes teams will be contacted about dinner orders/ dietary restrictions via a qualtrics survey
