This contest is held in memory of my sister, Charlotte Giza, who passed away on February 11, 2015, after 3 ½ years of living with colon cancer. She was my inspiration and my other half. This event is for her and for all strong women. Charm City Strongwoman is also dedicated to FiveX3 member Jan Avengine, who passed on February 2, 2022, from terminal cancer and Olivia Graham, the wife of our very own Joy Holland, who died this past September from metastatic breast cancer. These women were strong, fierce women who loved life to the fullest. And we miss them terribly. This contest is for them. This is also our last Strongwoman Contest. We want to thank everyone who has competed and supported this contest over the past 15 years. We could not have done this without you!
