Welcome to Gerly’s Ice Cream Making Workshop!
Let’s make ice cream the real way. In today’s world of artificial flavors and mystery ingredients, this hands-on class brings it back to basics—using fresh, real ingredients to create ice cream from scratch.
Our workshops have sold out consistently for the past 2 years — reserve your seat early!
Gerly’s Ice Cream Workshop is a flavorful, feel-good experience where you’ll not only learn how to make your own ice cream but also explore the rich history of this timeless treat. We’ll introduce you to two traditional techniques:
- Philadelphia-style (made without eggs – lighter and faster to churn)
- French-style (made with eggs – richer and custard-like)
Here’s what’s included:
- Guided instruction from a workshop instructor
- Sampling of both Philadelphia and French-style ice creams
- A complimentary three-scoop flight of Gerly’s Ice Cream
- A complimentary beverage (soda, water, lemonade, or apple juice)
- 1 pint of your own custom-made ice cream flavors + 1 pint to take home
- Unlimited toppings, including: Chocolate chips, Rainbow sprinkles, Chocolate sprinkles, Cannoli pieces, Graham cracker crust, Caramel, and Chocolate syrup.
- Recipe card to recreate your flavor at home
- All necessary equipment provided
All ingredients are nut-free and sesame-free, and you can choose to make your ice cream with or without eggs, and with dairy or oat milk.
Elevated Experience (From Scratch!):
This isn’t just ice cream — it’s a true craft experience:
- Learn how to make oat milk from scratch
- Choose between dairy or house-made oat milk
- Option to use eggs or go egg-free
Workshop Details:
- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Price: $60 per adult | $35 per child | $150 Family Ticket of 4 includes 2 adult and 2 child tickets | $125 Family Ticket of 3 includes 2 adult and 1 child ticket
Community Love:
Because giving back is at the heart of what we do, $5 from every ticket is donated to the Gerly’s Youth Scholarship Fund, helping create opportunities for young people in our community.
Private Parties:
Want to celebrate a birthday, girls’ night, or just have fun with friends?
We offer private workshops for groups of 5 or more at $50 per person.

Important Notes:
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Late arrivals may not be able to participate.
- While the class involves some standing and cooking, chairs are available for your comfort.
- All participants must have a paid seat. Observers are not permitted.
