Our "Thanksgiving Mash-Up Camp" delivers an exciting combination of activities designed to engage diverse interests while preparing for the holiday season!Choose 2 days (Nov 24 & 25) or 3 day options.
This three-day experience blends practical self-defense instruction with the wildly popular slime-making workshops and festive Thanksgiving preparations. Led by experienced instructors, children learn age-appropriate safety skills and confidence-building techniques through fun, movement-based activities.
Each afternoon transforms into a laboratory of tactile discovery as campers create different slime variations—from buttery-smooth to galactic swirls to satisfyingly crunchy textures. As Thanksgiving approaches, children will channel their creativity into meaningful gratitude projects and festive decorations, plus learn the science behind traditional holiday foods. This camp offers the perfect mix of practical skills, sensory exploration, and holiday preparation!
Daily Structure:
• Morning: Welcome and introduction to the day's theme followed by self-defense or gratitude projects
• Mid-day: Lunch and seasonal games at Littlejohn Park
• Afternoon: Laboratory session with slime creation or cooking activities, followed by showcase and reflection circle
Daily Highlights:
• Day 1: Safety & Slime - Age-appropriate self-defense instruction in the morning, butter slime and galaxy slime workshops in the afternoon
• Day 2: Movement & Making - Continued self-defense with teamwork focus in the morning, kitchen science experiments and simple cooking in the afternoon
• Day 3: Thanksgiving Preparations - Gratitude crafts and decorations in the morning, simple Thanksgiving treats and crunchy slime creation in the afternoon
Take Home: Daily slime creations, recipe cards, craft projects, and Thanksgiving decorations
