This is a one-hour guided tour through the main complex of structures at America's Stonehenge and has been adapted for young students to keep them focused and engaged. Attendants are encouraged to ask questions along the trail! The guide will have an optional worksheet available for students to fill out during the tour, which could be an excellent addition to the homeschool portfolio.A Thanksgiving-themed craft will be set up in the visitor center for all to enjoy before the tour begins.
The half-mile trail is steadily sloping over uneven terrain. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing, comfortable walking shoes, and be prepared to walk for approximately one hour.
The tour is recommended for students aged 5-12, but is open to all!
This special tour is included with general admission. Library card holders with Derry Public Library, Hampstead Library, Kelley Library, and Nevins Memorial Library receive HALF OFF up to four admissions just by showing their library card at the door.
