Holiday ride pacing:
• Group 1 – Fast (A + A Minus) – 21+ MPH targeted average
• Group 2 – Social (B) – 19 MPH targeted average
NOTE: Group 2 will briefly regroup at the Newt Green Road / Franklin Goldmine Road stop sign. Leading riders, please be mindful of this planned pause.
Also, your domestiques ask all riders to understand the danger we face while riding on Hwy. 369 and Hwy. 372. For this short stretch (approx. 1.5 miles), we must stay together as one group. Please, no one off the front. And to those in the rear, please signal the left turn onto Glenn Wilkie Trail to any trailing vehicles. We don’t want motorists passing our large group as we approach this hazardous left turn.

• This communication serves to inform interested individuals about our group rides. It does not imply any responsibility for the care or safety of participants. All riders participate at their own risk.
• Riders must adhere to lawful and safe riding practices, showing courtesy and respect to motorists regardless of their actions towards us. According to Georgia state law, cyclists may not ride more than two abreast.
• Large groups should split when entering busy areas such as Campground Road or when traffic begins to queue.
• Limited mechanical support is available in Group 2.
• Riders are expected to understand advanced group ride etiquette and safety standards and should have a course map and/or smart phone.
• New riders should check in with a Domestique during pre-ride activities for additional information.
• All rides are drop rides.
