About this Event

From Piramus and Thisbe, to Antony and Cleopatra, to Romeo and Juliet, legends and literature have told many a great love story - but the greatest love story ever told cannot be found amidst the pages of any novel. It is this incredible love story that the Thanks For Reaching' production aims to recount, using the medium of dance to unfold its profound narrative.

This unique production debuted in August 2023 and has since seen hundreds in attendance at its various showings. Many have marvelled at the discovery that this production was created by a small community of young people without professional dance or theatre training, yet so aggressively rivals major productions offered by Theatreland in London... and is totally free of charge.

Featuring an array of dance styles - from contemporary ballet, to amapiano, to hip-hop - the cast consists of students from across the United Kingdom who, without words, somehow manage to convey the message of what love _truly_ means. With its immaculate costumes, sensational staging and impressive talent, 'Thanks For Reaching' is a show that everyone ought to see at least once in their lifetime.
