This year the show moves back to its original date
About this Event
Thame Country Fair will move back to Easter Sunday and Monday for 2022. Following the success of last years event the show will retain some of its Covid-19 protocols that were introduced in 2021 to make it a safe outdoor event for all that attend.
A show designed for you to safely enjoy and maintain social distancing in a transformed outside event with wider walkways, hand sanitiser stations around the show, Covid Marshalls and enhanced cleaning.
In the main show arena there will be all of your favourite displays from falconry, gundogs, horse boarding and scurry driving. As well as arena displays there are a number of demonstrations and have a go events around the show including fishing, falconry, airguns and archery to name a few.
The Thame Country Fair will incorporate its own food festival with a variety of street foods and drink vendors, chef demonstrations and back ground music for you to enjoy and relax too.
Here you will find an array of fine foods, wines and spirits from local and national producers in one of the fine food halls.
A visit to our world of dogs section is a must for any dog lover with a chance for your pet to participant with lurcher racing, gun dog multi-scurry and the fun dog show. Its well worth a go.
None of our shows would be complete without the craft section, a place to buy that unique gift and watch traditional crafts in action. This is accompanied by a chainsaw area with chainsaw carvers producing a spectacular masterpiece over the weekend and two or three speed carves a day in a dedicated speed carve arena.

Q. What will happen if the show is cancelled due to Covid-19?
A. If the show is cancelled due to Covid-19 or due to government lockdowns a full refund or transfer of tickets will be offered. Unfortunately, this does not cover individual non- attendance.
Q. I have brought tickets and wish to change the day, can I do this?
A. Yes, up to a week before the event, or until the limit has been reached whichever is first.
Q. Will there be any covid restrictions at the show?
A. It is unsure that there will be restrictions in place including the number of visitors per day. Government restrictions at the time of the event will be followed and will be announced in our terms of entry and updated on our web site prior to the event.
