In this workshop, we will be learning how herbal compresses work and what their benefits are. We will discover the different types of herbs and plants with medicinal benefits and how they are grouped into different categories. The second part of this training will be on how to prepare the herbs and make the compress. This session will finish with participants learning how to massage with the herbal balls and experiencing receiving a massage too.
The Thai herbal compress, commonly known as "Luk Pra Kob" or "Herbal Ball Compress," is a traditional therapeutic tool used in Thai massage and alternative medicine. It is a compress filled with a blend of medicinal herbs that are steamed and then applied to the body in a pressing and circular motion. The warmth and herbal properties of the compress are believed to have various health benefits.
The workshop is focus on working with the shoulders and back. No experienced or partner required.
