About this Event

Join Inaartworld for a relaxed textured art workshop where you’ll create your own 20 x 25 cm textured canvas using palette knives, modelling paste and acrylic paint.

This workshop is designed for complete beginners, so you do not need any previous art experience. You’ll be guided through simple techniques to help you build texture, shape your design and bring your canvas to life.

The session will begin with a short introduction and demonstration, where you’ll learn how to use the materials and tools confidently. You’ll then have time to create your own textured artwork, with guidance and support available throughout.

You can choose to create a textured flower design, an abstract piece, or something more personal to your own style. The aim is not to copy one exact design, but to give you the confidence to explore colour, texture and composition in a way that feels enjoyable and accessible.

This is a calm, hands-on workshop focused on creativity, experimentation and the process of making. Whether you come alone, with a friend or as part of a small group, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly space where you can slow down and try something new.

What you’ll learn:

• How to apply modelling paste using palette knives and tools

• How to create raised texture on canvas

• Simple textured painting techniques, including floral and abstract styles

• How to use colour, shape and composition to build your artwork

• How to add finishing touches to complete your piece

• One 20 x 25 cm canvas to take home

• All paints, modelling paste, tools and materials

• A carrier to help take your artwork home safely

Workshop duration:

This workshop runs for 2 hours.

Important information:

Your artwork may still be drying when you leave, as textured paste takes time to fully set. You’ll be shown how to carry it home safely and how to let it dry properly once you get back.

No art experience is needed. All materials are provided.
