About this Event
In this workshop, learn new ways of seeing and modifying materials—new or found—to create dimensional textural in your art on fun and unique totem-size panels that are tall and skinny!
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
- build dimension from found objects
- incorporate fabric and handmade papers
- tame and simplify texture
- use a limited palette of colors
- create depth and interest with mark making
- create a rich, textural piece of art
We will be using a tall and skinny wood panel also known as an art totem! They're an attention-getter that can be hung almost anywhere at home.
