Hi there fellow creativesWe had a wonderful workshop on Saturday here at @busybees_patchwork with Textile Time Traveller Isobel Brown. We had a lesson in the making of thread through the years and then made our own yarn using a drop spindle and then, in the afternoon we used a peg loom to create little coasters. It was an inspirational day with much fun and laughter!!! I've always wanted to learn how to use a drop spindle to make thread and with Isobel's expert tuition, I might have enough to knit a sweater soon,
