Discover the art and science behind natural plant dyes in this hands-on workshop led by retired Professor of Biopharmaceutical Sciences Wendell Combest, Ph.D.Through demonstration and applied projects, participants will learn how color is extracted from plants and applied to natural fibers, experiment with indigo vats and resist-dyeing techniques, and explore the cyanotype process.
