Join the Denton County Office of History and Culture for the Texas Talks Lecture Series. This is a free lecture series at the Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum.On Wednesday, February 18 at 6 PM at the Courthouse-on-the-Square, Mary Helen Dodson will speak about her new book, "The Architecture of Wesley Clark Dodson."
Mary Helen Dodson is the great granddaughter of architect W.C. Dodson, who designed the 1896 Denton County Courthouse.
Her working career was spent at Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ. After retiring, she began to pursue her interest in genealogy and exploring her family’s past. What she learned about her great grandfather, convinced her that his remarkable story was worth telling.
