Companion Campaign.
Present this flyer (paper or electronic) to server at the Knoxville
(Powell) location and Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of your total food purchases to CAC Office On Aging Senior Companion Campaign! The Senior Companion Program engages those age 55 and older in volunteer service to provide companionship and support to older adults who are experiencing loneliness, isolation and barriers of aging. This volunteer program allows seniors to build meaningful relationships with one another in adult day facilities and in-home settings. Care recipients and givers are both below the poverty line which makes this a beneficial program two fold. These services are offered FREE OF CHARGE; therefore, your funds will go to support the volunteers’ transportation, stipends and meal reimbursement.
