About this Event
This is the Texas DPS approved course that will satisfy the 4-6 classroom hours required by the state to obtain a License To Carry. Following the course there will be a Written Exam & a Range Proficiency exam that students will be required to complete both with a passing score of 70%.
- Attendee w/ Firearm $199 (This is for students who will be providing their own firearm and ammunition.)
- Attendee w/o Firearm $275 (This is for students who will require the rental of the instructor's firearm, and ammunition.)
- TICKET PURCHASES ARE NON REFUNDABLE, BUT TRANSFERABLE TO ANOTHER CLASS.
INCLUDED IN YOUR TUITION:
- 4 hours of classroom time
- Extra paper B-27 targets (as needed)
- Firearm and ammo (if you purchased the $275 package)
- Completed LTC-100 document to submit to the state of Texas
Range Proficiency exam will take place at Elm Fork Shooting Sports: 10751 Luna Road Dallas, TX 75220. A range fee of $27+tax will need to be paid for a handgun target lane.
THINGS TO BRING TO THE CLASS:
- Valid ID
- Paper & Pen for notes
- Eye & ear protection, which can also be rented from the range
- Firearm and at least 50 rounds of ammo, unless you are renting one from us.
ADDITIONAL STEPS & FEES NECESSARY TO OBTAIN YOUR LICENSE:
- Fill out online State Application & pay fee: $40 https://txapps.texas.gov/txapp/txdps/ltc/
- Submit your LTC-100 to the state https://www.dps.texas.gov/rsd/contact/ltcatt.aspx
