To train and qualify students on applicable laws and handgun proficiency to submit their application to the Texas Handgun Licensing Program. Upon completion, students will have the the instructor certification for completed classroom curriculum & handgun qualification test required to submit their application.LTC classes do not teach you how to shoot. Attendees are expected to show up being proficient in firearms. We offer several classes to teach you how to shoot and offer a LTC prep class prior to the License to Carry class.
Equipment Needed:
Handgun, semi-auto or revolver .22 or larger with at least 2 magazines. Handguns are available for rent if you do not have your own.
Eyes and Ears (hearing protection)
50-100 rounds of Ammo to fit your semi-auto or revolver
State issued Driver's License
Suggestions: Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Ladies we suggest short nails to make grip much easier. Feel free to bring drinks and snacks.
