Founded in 2000 in Washington, DC, this dynamic 10-piece ensemble has built a reputation as one of the region’s most exciting and versatile live acts.
With two Wammie Award winning CDs under their belts The Texas Chainsaw Horns deliver a signature sound that transforms every performance into a high-energy experience. Drawing members from across the United States and Canada, the band unites a diverse range of musical backgrounds into one cohesive, unstoppable force.
The group’s pedigree speaks for itself. Members, alumni, and substitute players have performed and toured with some of the most respected names in the music industry, including Sting, Maynard Ferguson, the Saturday Night Live Band, Tower of Power, Spyro Gyra, the Baltimore Symphony, KC and The Sunshine Band, and Here Come the Mummies.
The Texas Chainsaw Horns are known for their innovative approach to popular music, reimagining hits from the 1970s through today with bold, brass-infused arrangements.
