About this Event
In this gripping work of investigative reporting, Harp examines a series of unsolved murders at America’s premier special operations base and uncovers a deeper story of drug trafficking, violence, and institutional failure within elite military units. What began with the discovery of two bodies in a wooded corner of Fort Bragg expands into a far-reaching investigation involving declassified documents, trial transcripts, police records, and hundreds of interviews.
An Iraq war veteran and seasoned foreign correspondent, Harp brings firsthand knowledge of military culture and armed conflict to this powerful narrative. The Fort Bragg Cartel explores the human cost of continuous war and the consequences of secrecy and impunity within institutions tasked with national defense.
