Ideal for anyone with an interest, no prior printmaking experience required. Create unique prints to take home and frame.

All materials and equipment will be provided.

Please wear old clothes as printing can get messy. No sandals, heels or open toed shoes. Aprons will be provided.

Teas, coffees and biscuits are provided.

This course is led by Sheffield based printmaker and art educator Aprille McShane. Aprille has over 10 years of experience in teaching and delivering visual art workshops for all ages and abilities. Her classes are aimed at beginners and through her supportive approach, makes art accessible and inclusive for all. She specialises in relief and monotype printmaking.

Often working with mark-making, colour and texture, Aprille’s experimental approach to printmaking is encouraged in her workshops, where she champions individual creativity.

Carousel Print Studio is a not for profit charity based on the ground floor of Exchange Place Studios in Castlegate, Sheffield. Carousel provides educational workshops in printmaking and opportunities for creatives in Sheffield, in a bright, warm, accessible and well equipped printmaking studio.

Carousel is located on the ground floor just to the left of reception. The doors are widened for ease of access and there is an accessible toilet. If you have any questions regarding access needs please do contact us at [email protected]
