Short Stories - A Storytelling Show
Our June show is a short story show. Short stories are like snapshots of a specific moment in time—a moment that stands out to us because of what it taught us, how it moved us, or what it revealed.**NOTE performances may contain strong language and adult content.**
These moments pass quickly, but they matter. Even though they’re over, they echo in our lives. They still stop us when we think of them. Maybe they make us smile, maybe they make us cry, maybe they stir something we can’t quite name.
Over a decade ago, I was at a party and heard a laugh. The laugh belonged to Steve, and it came with a smile that told me I had to meet him. We’ve been together for over a decade now, and it all started with that one moment.
This show is about those moments. The ones we keep. The ones that rise to the surface from time to time to remind us that it’s often the quiet moments that shape a life.
Doors open around 7:00 pm. This is a general admission show, arrive early to assure you have a seat.
