TERRY FIELDING and HELEN & TONY ROMEOWHERE DO YOU WEIGH A WHALE??? IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA THEN TERRY FIELDING WILL TELL YOU.
Terry Fielding who co-wrote one of Australia’s top hits of the 1970s- ‘The Whale’ will be a special guest at an IFC Concert on Sunday 14th July at 2 PM at the intimate historical Thirroul Railway Heritage Hall.
The Whale song was sung by the dynamic Australian Duo, Terry Fielding and Alan Dyer. Terry, who now lives in Melbourne, has since gone on with a busy solo career.
Terry reformed with Alan Dyer briefly in 1998 to write and record an album in Newcastle titled "THE WHALE and OTHER STORY SONGS". Sadly Alan Dyer has since passed on.
Also on with Terry will be The Romeos (Helen and Tony) one of the most passionate duos singing and interpreting Australian traditional folk and bush music.
A great concert to sit back and enjoy the storytelling and wonderful musicianship.
Tickets are limited.
The cost is $20/25 and afternoon tea (tea/coffee/slice) is included.
