About this Event
Trees are everywhere, but how well do we really know them? In this interactive program, we’ll explore the incredible trees that call Rockefeller State Park Preserve home and discover why they’ve been so important to people throughout history. We will learn how to recognize different types of trees up close and talk about how they support wildlife and the forest ecosystem. To wrap up, participants will head to the art gallery to reflect on the trees we meet and create a tree cookie necklace to take home.
