About this Event
Come on over to Topoly's Italian in Gloucester to get crafty by making a pair of terrazzo coasters/trays!
On Thursday 23rd July from 6.15pm, you'll be mixing, pouring, and creating your very own set of square, hexagonal, or round coasters with a raised edge to jazz up your space.
Discover Jesmonite, a non-toxic material made from a mix of acrylic liquid and gypsum powder. It's water-based, but the pigments can stain so consider wearing something you don't mind getting messy.
You'll pick your colour palette, concoct your terrazzo chips, and whip up the mix for your coasters. After that, it's time to pour, chill with a drink while they set, and then unleash your creations from the molds. I'll send you off with a goodie bag filled with sandpaper and sealant to add the finishing touches to your new masterpieces at home. Crafty fun awaits!
A pasta dish and glass of prosecco is included in your ticket price, please choose from the options below:
- Tagliatelle Topoly’s (GFA)
Thin strips of pasta with ham, mushrooms, tomatoes, cream, béchamel sauce, white wine, mixed herbs and parsley.
- Spaghetti Bolognese (GFA)
Made with minced meat, tomatoes, onions and wine.
- Penne Napoli (GFA, Vegan, Vegi)
Napoli sauce, cherry tomatoes, garlic, Italian herbs & olive oil.
- Ravioli Alla Romana
Chicken, Napoli sauce, cream, mushrooms, egg yolk, white wine and mixed herbs.
Gluten free pasta is available and I will email you for your choice after booking.
Timings:
6.15pm Arrival and glass of Prosecco
6.30pm Dinner is served
7.15pm We will make our terrazzo chips then you can order any desserts or extra drinks while we wait for them to set.
When they are dry we will crunch them up and add them to our main mixture and pour into the moulds.
We will aim to finish up the evening by 9pm
