For the past 25 years Chicago-based Terrapin Flyer has been touring with the finest in the Grateful Dead community of musicians and has become a fixture of the U.S. music scene, playing around 100 shows annually at venues and music festivals around the country. The 2026 European tour is quite special; band founders Doug Hagman and Wavy Dave are coming to Europe along with their lead guitarist Josh Olken, and will be joined on pedal steel guitar by Aaron Feder and on drums by Bryan Curtis. Aaron is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound engineer, originally from Chicago who has lived in Barcelona for 20 years. He has played with Bob Bralove (Grateful Dead), members of Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Family Band as well as Grammy Nominated Peter Rowan (Old and in the Way) and Grammy Award Winner Eric Krasno. Bryan Curtis is an Irish drummer, located in Barcelona and is one of the most in demand session and live drummers in the city.
