Gallery After Hours: Terra and Textile bring together the tactile beauty of fiber and form in an evening - and exhibition - designed to be experienced slowly and up close. Featuring intricate textile works by local artist Cindy Herndon alongside sculptural pieces by Glenn Roberts, this show explores the dialogue between earth and textile, material, process, and place.
This exhibition will be on view March 7th - 28th. Join us for a special Gallery After Hours reception on Thursday, March 19th from 5-7pm, held in conjunction with the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event. Enjoy art, conversation, and community in a relaxed evening setting as we celebrate the artists and connect with fellow creatives and local professionals. All are welcome.
This special evening also coincides with Youth Art Month, highlighting artwork from our local public-school students and celebrating the creativity of the next generation.
