North Shore Jazz, presented by BlueShore at CapU in partnership with Vancouver International Jazz Festival presents the Vancouver quintet playing upbeat brass-band music with a healthy dose of funk and honk.Featuring:
Michael Coury - trumpet and vocals
Tim Sars - sax and vocals
Brian Harding - trombone and vocals
Marc Lindy - tuba
Liam MacDonald - percussion
Formed in 2016 as a house band for venerable South Granville haunt, Ouisi Bistro, Terminal City Brass Band plays a full-on range of music from trad jazz to funk and anything else that crosses their minds. In addition to their numerous individual music projects, these close friends come together regularly out of the love for the sound they create: Always a powerful brew.
