Let your kids get crafty and creative in this fun and friendly art class. Tuesday afternoons for children ages 6 - 8. Term 4 is 9 weeks.
About this Event

In this fun and friendly class children get to try out different materials and techniques whilst exploring their creativity in a small group with experienced educator, Bridget Seaton. Term 4 is 9 weeks and runs every Tuesday from 15 Oct - 10 Dec 2024 from 4:15 - 5:45pm

This is a regular term time class held on Tuesday afternoons at Atwell House. Children will typically produce 1 piece of artwork a week but some tasks may extend over a 2 week period. Children will often be provided with visual images or objects for reference and inspiration, at other times they will be working from imagination. Tasks are directed by the teacher but children are encouraged to use their imagination and make some of their own decisions about their work. Subject matter can range from looking at plants and animals, faces, figures, urban and rural environments, the work of famous artists, other cultures and also abstraction. Materials used are non toxic and include, watercolour, acrylic paint, inks, collage, pastels and mixed media. All materials provided.
