Join Jasmine from Kind Mind for Yin Yoga in Term 2 2024. The class will be held at St Barnabas Hall Croydon Tuesday evenings 6-7.15pm.This is an 10 week term where you can book for the 10 weeks for $130 (2 classes FREE) or come along casually for $15 a class.
Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice. Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. This is contrast to a Yang yoga practice such as Vinyasa yoga which targets the muscles and a contrast to our busy Yang lives.
Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs and around the body. Yin yoga also offers a pause to check in with your emotional and mental bodies. Taking time to slow down and digest anything within the subconscious.

During each class we will explore pranayama (breathing techniques), Yoga Asana and end with meditation.
Jasmine’s intention with this offering is to create a weekly space for you to feel held, slow down and receive.
This class is suitable for beginners and advanced Yoga participants alike.
What to bring:
· BYO yoga mat (if you have one I have plenty of spares)
· Water Bottle
· Comfy clothes to move about in
· Open Mind
· Pillow/Blanket if you would like for your final savasana
