With a voice acclaimed by Washington Post, as having a “beautiful gleam & flutter,” tenor Lunga Eric Hallam makes his Vocal Arts DC debut, as a Perman Emerging Artist, joined by longtime collaborator and GRAMMY® winner, pianist Craig Terry!This young South African tenor splashed onto the international opera scene as a semifinalist in the 2019 Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition and the Voice of South Africa International Singing Competition. Soon after he joined Lyric Opera of Chicago’s distinguished Ryan Opera Center, and earned rapturous reviews for his role debuts as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Jupiter (Semele), and Ferrando (Cosi fan tutte) with Wolf Trap Opera.
