We’ll start with a Budget 101 to ground everyone in the process, then work together to build a People’s Budget that reflects the Tenderloin's real needs and priorities. We’ll hear from Supervisor Mahmood on how the upcoming budget will impact Tenderloin families and community.
You’ll hear directly from Tenderloin based and serving community organizations about the current state of funding, the impacts of over $100M in proposed cuts to community services, and what’s on the line this year.
Together, we’ll make sense of this historic budget moment and organize to protect the resources our communities rely on.
