We are beyond excited to share some very special news with you, our academy will be hosting its very first Batizado (Belt Ceremony) this fall! This marks a huge milestone for us and will be one of the most meaningful chapters in our school’s journey.For those new to Capoeira, a Batizado is a traditional ceremony where students are formally welcomed into the Capoeira community and receive their first or next belt. It’s a celebration of growth, dedication, and community. Open to all, whether you’ve just started your Capoeira journey or have been training for years.
November 6 - 8, 2025, Team Capoeira Bamba Mississauga will be hosting Workshops, Rodas, Performances and the Batizado. As this will be our First Batizado, it's going to be an amazing event with lots of Capoeira.
Come learn, connect, and share the axé with someone who's been inspiring the capoeira world in so many ways. This is going to be special — don’t miss it!
After all the Capoeira fun, we will be hosting a Potluck Style Festa at 7PM for all of us to enjoy the evening in great company, food and music.
