If you’ve caught him at Wonderfruit 22’, copped his Midnight Runners edits or listened to his excellent disco-boogie compilation Tanamur City, you know what’s up. About Tempo: 
It’s not often Offtrack gets transformed like this, but when it does, it’s tight. Tempo happens every quarter - the seating gets cleared, the lights get low and the sound system gets turned up. It’s so good hearing those La Scalas truly sing, even sweeter when blessed in the hands of a top selector. Our full menu isn’t available at Tempo, but we’ll all be fuelled by easy drinks & eats - it’s a different selection every time.

About Munir:


Harry "Munir" Septiandry is a record collector, label owner, graphic designer and music producer from the luscious town of Bandung in West Java, Indonesia, known for shaking up the region's boogie and disco scene as the head honcho at Midnight Runners label and collective. His vault is the envy of many collectors, well stocked with rarities, and with that he launched Peel Records, a listening and cocktail bar that stocks citypop, AOR and boogie tunes. Taking the influence of 12" Records artwork, Munir is also a seasoned graphic designer who makes his own record sleeve design and other freelance music record artwork globally. For him, design is simply an essential form of communication in every aspect, which is very important for day-to-day life.


About Dean Chew:


With a djing journey that has spanned more than 15 years, Dean Chew (aka Funk Bast*rd) has earned praises from a worldwide range of selectors that include the likes of Gilles Peterson, Lefto, Bradley Zero, San Soda, Hugo LX, Dam-Funk, Dreamcast Moe and more. Being the co-founder of Singapore-based label Darker Than Wax and the newly opened listening bar Offtrack, Dean has been tirelessly pushing and promoting an alternative expression of lefteld music through his widely eclectic and genre-bending sets. Being the main A+R and creative mind behind DTW, the label has flourished tremendously over the past 5 years, cementing its place as one of the go-to labels out of South East Asia.

His musical selections, which traverses across an extensive spectrum from deep jazz to the freshest cuts have left many indelible marks on the dancefloors. A highly respected digger who is also known by many in the circuit for his extensive musical knowledge, technically astute skills, and blends, it’s no surprise that he has warmed up or shared the stage with Bradley Zero, Lefto, HAAI, Pearson Sound, the late Mike Huckaby and many more. Most recently, Dean has debuted at Gilles Peterson’s We Out Here festival, and was also the 1st Singaporean selector to have played a set on the cult HÖR radio platform.

There’s always an element of surprise in his sets - just open them ears.
