Very honored and grateful to be offering this healing container with a pioneer in his art and offering in the world. Temple Step has been an inspiration for me for many many years, and this is a special opportunity to get to co-create one of my absolute favorite containers <3 Intention:
The intention of this offering is to bring deep presence and freedom of expression into journeying together through live music, ecstatic dance, breathwork, cacao, and authentic connection. This is a wonderful opportunity to drop into a beautifully held, inspirational, and permission-filled space that welcomes you to liberate the radiance within yourself.
This is a space where we get to practice welcoming any and all layers of ourselves to be witnessed, expressed, and embraced by oneself and the community. We are here to turn towards what is ready to be seen and brought into the light, with the courage to fully feel and express without attachment to story. This is an extra special event as it will all be held within the sonic container of Temple Step Project.
DON'T FORGET TO BRING THE ESSENTIALS:
- A mug for cacao
- Comfortable mat to lay on
- Pillow, blanket, water bottle
- There will be no extra mats, blankets, or other supplies for the
breathwork journey. Please be self-reliant and prepared.
EXTRA THINGS:
- Support for under the knees (e.g., bolster, extra yoga mat, extra blanket)
- Eye mask
- An intention for being here
DRESS:
Clothes you want to dance in and lay down in for 1 hour and 20 minutes
TICKETS:
Please do not see the ticket prices as early and late tickets; rather, choose the tier that you feel is best suited to your finances. Once a tier of tickets is sold out, the other tiers will be available. If finances hold you back from joining, please reach out to [email protected], explaining what you can afford and what it would mean for you to join.
Flow of the Evening:
5:00 – 5:30 PM: Arrive and check in
5:30 – 6:00 PM: Cacao Offering with Danny
6:00 – 6:20 PM: Break and set up Ecstatic Dance
6:20 – 7:50 PM: Temple Step Project Ecstatic Dance
7:50 – 8:20 PM: Break and set up Breathwork
8:20 – 9:40 PM: Breathwork Journey W/ live music by Temple Step Project
9:40 – 10:10 PM: Nourishing integration
10:10 – 10:30 PM: Closing
Timing is approximately +/- 15 minutes from start to finish. We intend to start right at 5:30, so please be on time.
About the Cacao Offering:
The cacao offering is a space where we get to set the foundation and core resonance for our evening of journeying as a connected group. Danny will be offering guidance into connecting with your "why" for being here through our intentional consumption of cacao.
About Ecstatic Dance:
Our first deeper journey of the night is through ecstatic dance. Ecstatic dance is a space where we get to practice dropping the mind and story to experience an embodied, connected, and expressive state. There is no talking, no shoes, and no phones on the dance floor. This is a potent space to experience ourselves in the freedom of our collective expression.
About the Breathwork:
Circular/Connected Breathing is a tool we can utilize to transform ourselves on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. This process gets us out of our default modes, helping us journey into expanded states of consciousness that connect us with our higher selves, resulting in profound experiences of clarity. The breath expresses with an active inhale and a relaxing/surrendering exhale. There is a total of 50 minutes of active breathing, and we will be laying down in a restorative position throughout. No experience is needed.
There will be a breathwork team of 10-15 facilitators who are qualified to support participants in the vulnerability of a deeper breathwork journey.

About Danny Balgooyen:
Danny is a breathworker, conscious dance DJ, dance facilitator, and connection creator. Co-founder of Inner Light Revival Breathwork, Boulder Ecstatic Dance (BED), and formerly Dance Meets Tantra (DMT), he devotes himself to creating safe and inspiring experiences that invite more authentic expressions of ourselves. Danny is inspired to offer radical presence, safety, and authenticity, creating and deepening community in Boulder, CO.
