About this Event
Hosted by Trash Arts, a Portsmouth-based independent film production company, this two-hour hands-on workshop invites participants to explore the fundamentals of filmmaking using just a smartphone. Set against the dynamic backdrop of the LOOKUP Portsmouth street art fesitval, where artists transform city walls into living canvases, this session will show how to tell stories visually - using framing, movement, light and perspective.
Open to anyone aged 14-25. Ideally you'll bring your own smartphone but we will have a small number available to borrow, courtesy of our friends at iHelp on Albert Road. No editing apps are required, the workshop will teach you how to shoot with editing in mind.
