We are delighted to invite you to our very first edition of Tell Me a Story!Everyone loves book clubs - but we figured that we actually don't always care to read the books _other_ people put on a reading list and tell us to read.
Tell Me a Story is our solution to that.
These gatherings will work very much like a book club. However, there is no topic or common reading list imposed on the attendees.
Instead, the idea of Tell Me a Story is to exchange with others your impression of a book you've read in the past, or the book you are currently reading.
Join us, over a glass of wine, to share a word or two about how you chose the book you read/are currently reading, what you think of it so far and/or why you recommend it (or not).
This book club spin-off is open to readers of all frequencies, genres and tastes, and is the perfect event for those looking for new book recommendations, or simply to meet other Copenhagen literature-lovers. We want to hear about your favourite Portuguese poetry, comic book and/or Chris Kraus novel - everything is welcomed and allowed.
We have created this initiative because we too love to receive personal recommendations, especially from genres we are not familiar with and, to cater to a group that may not be able to invest as much time and effort as is maybe required in a "normal" book club.
Hopefully you'll leave the meeting with your head full of inspiration and a long list of books you want to read.
