The band's journey began as a musical collaboration & friendship between Telita Lee & Richard Aspden, sharing a deep passion for old-time blues, country, folk & contemporary popular music. With a musical tapestry that weaves together timeless blues to songwriting legends like John Prine & Johnny Cash. Telita Lee & The Huskies create an authentic & heartfelt sound that resonates deeply. Telita Lee and The Huskies will perform their AMRAP chart-topping singles alongside unique arrangements of some of their all-time favorite songs.
LUJZA is an artist who fuses old school soul with fresh beats & focused on telling her story her way. Her debut album 'Caught Up' brings us the love story from beginning to the end, from falling head over heels in love to the depth of heartbreak. Influenced by old school greats such as Etta James, Aretha Franklin & Otis Redding as well as contemporary artists such as Joss Stone, Alicia Keys & Amy Winehouse, Lujza is here to go deep & very personal. With powerful lyrics & haunting melodies, she has recently written several songs for the short film 'Consequences'. Her sound has been compared to soul greats like Jill Scott & Beverley Knight.
Lujza bends her genres in accordance with the story to include Soul, R&B, Alternative Pop & '80s synth. Feat. songs from her debut album, along with her brand new single ‘Don’t’. Get ready to get ‘Caught Up’ with Lujza and her band at the Link & Pin.
Salt Skin is a solo artist who writes & plays songs inspired by nature, the elements, surfing & life in general. He also performs soulful renditions of cover versions of songs you’re unaccustomed to hearing on the circuit.
This free event will be a reunion for these three acts who first met at Kula in 2022.
