About this Event
Tejano Social Club is more than a dance event. It's a revival of something we almost lost.
Long before social media and streaming, gathering as a community was everything. The dance halls, the ballrooms, the Saturday night socials — these were the places where Tejano culture lived. Where adults dressed up, the music played, and you asked someone to dance with respect. The elders kept the tradition alive by simply showing up — and the younger generation learned by watching them.
That tradition faded. Tejano Social Club was created to bring it back.
For those who remember fragments of the culture and want to find their way back in. For the elders who lived it and have something worth passing down. For everyone who married into the culture, grew up alongside it, or is simply drawn to the music.
Tejano culture has never been exclusive. Everyone is welcome on this floor.
What to expect:
A relaxed 45 minute introduction to Tejano — old school, no pressure, no complicated footwork. Followed by open social dancing, good music, good people, light appetizers, and a full bar.
This is not a nightclub. This is a social.
These events will be held in the Houston Bay Area — serving the Clear Lake, Webster, Seabrook, Kemah, and League City communities.
This is our founding event. The first of many.
The tradition continues — and it starts here.
