About this Event
What is the best way to negotiate with your parents? How can you make group projects fair? What do your chocolate and your phone have in common? All of this can be answered with simple economics! Join us for Everyday Economics: How to Make Smart Decisions! Our Teens Teach experts will help you to understand how economics explains everyday choices from sharing snacks to splitting chores, and how to get what you want and make the right decisions. Through games, challenges, and hands-on simulations, you will get to explore the world of economics and how applicable it is to your own lives!
In this program, you will
- Play interactive games that bring economic concepts of choice, game theory, behavioral economics, and more to life
- Learn how to negotiate, cooperate, and make better decisions together
- Build teamwork and critical-thinking skills through fun economic challenges
We invite all middle and high schoolers to join us. This is a beginner-friendly program with no experience needed. We can’t wait to share the world of economics with you!
