WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Rising 7th and 8th graders will create a personal short film about themselves and their connection to the world around them. The workshop will guide you through the filmmaking process from script writing, concept development to post-production. At the end of the program, we'll showcase your films for friends and family, giving you the chance to share your vision. Docs In Progress will supply the editing software.
Additional Info: Participants can refrigerate their lunches; water and nut-free snacks will be provided.
Teaching Artist: Ja'Bria Oliver
Ja’Bria Oliver is a Media Production Educator and Visual Content Producer. She instructs students in various forms of digital and traditional media, fostering creativity and developing technical skills across disciplines such as video production, photography, graphic design, and animation. She combines artistic instruction with technology integration, preparing students for both academic advancement and potential careers in creative industries.

REFUND POLICY:
If your circumstances change and you must withdraw from a class after registering, please be aware of our refund policy:
Withdrawal:20 or more calendar days before the first day of a program: 75% refund
Withdrawal :11-19 calendar days before the first day of a program: 50% refund
Withdrawal :10 or fewer calendar days before a program: No refund
In case of refund requests, the registrant will incur all Eventbrite fees.
