It's Teen Street time again and this block party is even BIGGER, we've got BrattRock joining us for their biannual concert!Sept 20th 5-9pm, Preston Lot, a large municipal parking lot in Downtown Brattleboro, is transformed into a mecca of art, sports, food, and entertainment. Think First Friday, but designed exclusively with youth in mind. This event is for teens! Downtown Brattleboro Alliance, The Boys & Girl’s Club, BrattRock, New England Youth Theater, The Latchis Hotel & Theater, and the Brattleboro Police Dept, are thrilled to invite teens down to Flat Street this September.
Teen Street means Food Trucks, Live Music by local youth musicians, a youth organized art market. How much fun can you jam into a parking lot? A lot it turns out- an Inflatable Obstacle Course, Kona Ice, pickup basketball. Did we mention food? Thai Hut will be on-site and ready for action- delicious AND affordable. Sunshine Lemonade Company is turning lemons into Boba Lemonade! Take a stroll through the Teen Art Market, with goods by youth for youth.
BrattRock! Twice a year they throw the biggest concerts featuring youth musicians. ALWAYS amazing, and ALWAYS a thrill to see such talented youth right in our own community! The lineup this round:

Flat Street is long overdue for a shift in energy, identity, and narrative. Young people need places to be & opportunities to gather. Consider this an invitation to rethink how we engage with this space, and an invitation to join us in working towards the Flat Street we know is possible. More improvement projects and announcements coming soon. BPD and the Brat Team will be on-site for this event.
