Lakeside Chautauqua is proud to announce a powerful new partnership with because I said I would — the global accountability movement founded by Alex Sheen — to launch Youth and Teen Resiliency Camps this summer. After inspiring audiences as a keynote speaker at Lakeside last year, Sheen returns to lead campers through a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to build courage, confidence and character.
Teen Resiliency Overnight Camp: Strong Minds, Strong Futures
June 3-6, 2026 | Ages 14-17 | 4 days, 3 nights
Youth Day Camp: Building Resiliency
June 8-10, 2026 | Ages 10-13
REGISTRATION
Registration opens in March. Families are encouraged to share this opportunity with young people who are ready for a meaningful, confidence-building summer experience.
BUILDING STRENGTH THAT LASTS
These camps go beyond traditional summer programming. Through an engaging, trauma-informed and supportive environment, youth and teens will develop practical tools and healthy mental habits that strengthen emotional resilience and personal integrity.
Guided by Sheen’s proven accountability framework, campers will learn to:
Master self-control and manage emotions effectively
Navigate stress with practical, real-world strategies
Challenge limiting beliefs and unlock their full potential
Develop a personal code of honor rooted in integrity
Set meaningful goals and follow through
“We’re thrilled to help teens develop the skills and confidence to face life’s challenges with courage and integrity,” said Sheen.
