Shape your own self-expression over six weeks of creativity in the pottery studio! Both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques will be covered in this beginner-friendly class that encourages teens to explore the endless potential of clay through surreal sculptural play and functional pieces to match your mood and personality using many forms of surface decoration.
About the Instructor: Michelle is a graduate of NSCAD University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Ceramics. Since 2009, Michelle has been teaching pottery at the Art Gallery of Burlington. She also teaches ceramics at the Burlington Senior’s Centre. Exploring in clay with children, teenagers and adults has given Michelle great joy!
Please note: If courses are purchased at member price, and membership is not active, you will be charged for the membership.
ART MATERIALS for children’s classes are included in the registration fee.
WHAT TO WEAR? Clothing may get messy from the materials used in the class. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
WHAT TO BRING? Snacks that are nut-free. We appreciate your cooperation!
