We are looking to cast an ensemble of teens ages 14 to 17 for The Elixir of Love. Rehearsals will be on Wednesdays starting in October to work on the music, and then join the Boulder Opera singers in staging rehearsals. Performances will open to the public in November.This is a great opportunity for teens to get their first opera performance experience!
The Elixir of Love will be fully staged and feature an ensemble orchestra.
Music rehearsals: Wednesdays in October from 5:00 pm to 6:30pm (1st, 8th)
Staging rehearsals:
Saturday Oct 25th 2 to 5pm
Tuesday 28th 6 to 9pm
Thursday Oct 30th 6 to 9pm
Saturday Nov 1st 2 to 6 pm
Tuesday Nov 4th 6 to 9pm
Thursday Nov 6th 6 to 9pm
Sat Nov 8th 2 to 6 pm run through and sitz. (4pm to 6pm)
Tech week Gordon Gamm at Dairy Arts Center
Monday Nov 10th Piano dress
Tuesday Nov 11th Final dress
Performances: November 15-16, 2025

The cost is $450 and will help us cover the costs of production, props, and costume rental.
