The BRASIL MOSTRA A SUA CARA project is a series of Brazilian dance workshops, focused on bringing authentic Brazilian-inspired movement and cultural study to Colorado. 💛💚The second series of this project is the Samba de Gafieira workshop: MEU BRASIL BRASILEIRO.
Samba de Gafieira is danced in pairs and is one of Brazil's most sought-after ballroom dance styles. The samba, like our language, Portuguese, takes on different forms in each part of Brazil. This dance, with origins in Rio de Janeiro in the 'Gafieira Houses', is an elegant and playful dance that invites you to be bold and discover new limits.
